CUDOS Intercloud: How to Spin up a Virtual Machine on a Private Network
Hello Guys, we will create a simple walkthrough on how to spin up a Virtual Machine on a Private Network on CUDOS Intercloud. But first we have to create a private Network.

How to create a Virtual Private Network on CUDOS Intercloud
- Log in with your preferred wallet service provider and click on Networks.
2. On this page, click on Create a private network
3. Select your preferred location for the data center
4. You can choose to modify the name of the private network, after which you can select a subnet; a preferred range of IP addresses for your private network, and click on create.
5. Here you can see the Virtual Private Network is active and is added to your tabs of Virtual Private Networks
After, creating your Private Network, we have to create a Virtual Machine under the Private Network you just created. To do this, follow these simple steps below;
- After logging into the CUDOS Intercloud site with your preferred wallet provider, click on create a virtual machine on the top right corner.
2. Go ahead to select the specifications of the virtual machine you want to create like the Operating system and the region you want it to be created from.
3. Also select the type of Machine and RAM size and you have an option for GPU model while considering the cost.
4. After choosing your preferred storage and inserting your SSH public key. Under Networking do not use the Public Internet option, use the drop-down icon to see the Virtual Private Network you just created, and select it.
5. After making all the necessary changes, confirm everything is as you want it to be then go ahead and deploy your machine.
7. After deploying, you will have the following page shown on your screen with the machine starting, give it some seconds, after which it will switch to running, that is when you know that the machine is active.
8. Go back to your Networks on the navigation bar and click on the name of your Private Network to open its details
9. This is a view of the private network and you should be able to see your created machine under the Machines section.
