CUDOS: NVIDIA GPUs and Private Networks
The Concept of GPUs
Many might be new to the term Graphic Processing Units(GPUs), some might have heard of it but don’t entirely know what it is about. In this section, we are going to learn about GPUs and what it entails.
GPU is an electronic circuit and a high-grade processor that is made of small more specialized cores. These cores work in unison to provide first-grade performance when processing tasks. GPUs are mainly designed to carry out heavy tasks such as rending of 3D computer graphics on devices like smartphones, computers, gaming consoles, etc. they enable high visuals and are also very vital when it comes to handling AI workloads which require large amounts of processing power.
NVIDIA
Nvidia Corporation is a technology company recognized for the manufacturing and processing of GPUs.
It aims to provide technology solutions for the increasing demand for complex computational resources in the market, which has been recently focused on AI. This has helped to foster the development of AI over the last few years.
CUDOS Network and NVIDIA
CUDOS Network, a fast-rising name in the blockchain and cloud computing industry, has provided the CUDOS Intercloud as a means by which end users and organizations can access cloud computing resources, required for different workloads, such as AI, gaming etc. Most of these workloads can be performance intensive, hence the availability of NVIDIA GPUs on the CUDOS Intercloud for the end users looking to utilize these services.

Private Networks
A private network is any connection within a specified network wherein restrictions are established to promote a secured environment. This type of network can be configured in such a way that devices outside the network cannot access it.
With a Private Network it is possible to protect users and critical information as it aids in secure data transmission, enhanced productivity, secure remote access, etc. and CUDOS Intercloud has this feature to portray how far the CUDOS Network is willing to go to protect users’ data.
How to create a Virtual Private Network on CUDOS Intercloud
- Log in with your preferred wallet service provider and click on Networks.
2. On this page, click on Create a private network
3. Select your preferred location for the data center
4. You can choose to modify the name of the private network, after which you can select a subnet; a preferred range of IP addresses for your private network, and click on create.
5. Here you can see the Virtual Private Network is active and is added to your tabs of Virtual Private Networks
6. You can deploy a VM and add it to the Virtual Private Network by modifying the Networking option below from Public Internet to your Virtual Private Network, fill in other required fields, and create your VM.
